Misk started with a simple idea: we wanted to create something that brought people together and made people feel genuinely welcomed.

Growing up, some of the best moments happened around a table — coffee being poured, something sweet being passed around, and conversations lasting longer than expected. In our family and culture, hospitality has always been a way of showing people that they matter. Coffee isn’t just something you drink. It’s something you offer when someone walks through your door, when you’re celebrating, catching up, or simply spending time together.

That feeling became a big part of the inspiration behind Misk.

The name Misk means musk in Arabic — a scent known for lingering even after you’ve left. We loved the idea of creating something that feels the same way: a small but memorable part of your celebration that stays with you and your guests long after the day is over.

We also genuinely love the little details that make an event feel special — the beautiful setup, choosing your drink, watching it being made, catching up with someone while you wait, and walking away with a cup made just for you.

That’s what we hope to bring to every event we’re invited into. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or an intimate gathering, we get to be a small part of some of the happiest moments in people’s lives.

Because at the end of the day, Misk was never meant to be just about coffee.
